Reporting an Error
If you believe a story contains a factual error, please contact us through our Contact page with the article link and a description of the issue. Include supporting sources where possible so we can verify the correction quickly.
How We Correct
- Factual errors (wrong names, dates, figures, misattributed quotes) are corrected in the published article as soon as they are verified.
- Significant corrections that materially change the meaning of a story are noted within the article so readers can see what changed.
- Minor edits — typos, grammar, formatting — are made without a formal correction note.
- Updates that add new information to a developing story (rather than fix an error) are treated as updates, not corrections.
- Removal or significant revision of a published story is a rare, editorial-team-level decision, generally reserved for legal, safety or serious accuracy concerns.
- Publisher-submitted content passes through the same editorial review as staff-written content, so the same standard applies regardless of who wrote it.
Our Commitment
We would rather be corrected quickly and openly than leave inaccurate information standing. If you spot something, please tell us.
